Kozuk De Losz Berta
Widowed
Berta Kozuk de Losz, at 67, embodied the essence of a Yiddishe Mame, strong yet kind and loving, especially to her grandchildren. Her greatest joy was family suppers on Saturdays. On the morning of July 18, 1994, Berta was heading to work, taking the 99 bus to Viamonte and Pasteur streets. While walking along the 600 block, the AMIA building on Pasteur 633 was bombed at 9:53 a.m., adding her to the list of 85 victims, and leaving a legacy of love and strength.
