Mariela Toer, a 19-year-old student, and her mother, Graciela, visited the AMIA Job Placement Office on July 18, 1994. While they were waiting for assistance, a devastating car bomb detonated at the AMIA building. The attack claimed their lives along with 83 others, and more than 300 were injured in the incident. Mariela and her mother's presence and the loss of their lives in this tragic event are solemnly remembered.
