Mallinger Rose

Widowed

Rose Mallinger, affectionately known as "Bubbie," was a spirited and resilient soul, known for her zest for life and deep-seated love for her family and community. Even at 97, she lived life on her terms, delighting in simple joys like enjoying a good dessert and maintaining her independence. Her life was a testament to strength, embodying the belief that one is never too old to pursue one’s passions or stand up for what one believes in.
Rose's dedication to her faith was profound, with the Tree of Life Congregation serving as a second home where she felt most herself. Tragically, it was here where her life was cut short in an act of senseless violence that shook her community and beyond. Despite this horror, the legacy of Rose's spirit—a mix of resilience, love, and an unwavering dedication to her community and faith—continues to inspire those who knew her.
Her funeral, attended by hundreds and led by Rabbi Jeffrey Myers, was a solemn yet powerful affirmation of her life and the impact she had on those around her. Rose is survived by her children, her brother Ben Goldberg, and a legacy of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and beyond, all of whom remember her as a symbol of strength and love, always stronger than hate.
