Ileana Mercovich, 21, was full of dreams and aspirations. With hopes of starting a family, becoming a photographer, and a fashion designer, she went to the AMIA Job Placement office early on July 18, 1994. Her life, filled with sweetness, generosity, and creativity, was cut short when the bomb detonated, killing her and many others seeking new beginnings.
