Awarded for his essays, he was also a soccer enthusiast and a Ferro supporter, playing weekends at Club CASA. On July 18, 1994, Cristian arrived early at DAIA, aiming to utilize the university's winter break to advance his work. Despite usually parting with a hug, that morning he simply waved to his sleeping mother. Tragically, at 9:53 a.m., a car bomb exploded at the AMIA building where Cristian was, underscoring his belief in collective memory and awareness to prevent horror.
